TEXT: Matthew 11:23-24

As a child of God, prayer should never be your last resort, it should be your first respose.

When situations arise in your home, Jesus is the only one you should call upon rather than seeking out other means.

In the kingdom of God, prayer is not something that is done anyhow, instead, its a powerful, spirit-charged, and heaven-backed activity.

The world looks at us and call our faith in God rubbish. However, we are the most advanced people in the world, even tough this advancement has nothing to do with wealth.

The way of God when it comes to prayer that moves mountains is to know that in the spiritual realm, you are a giant and when you command things they answer.

That’s the level God wants to take us to. But many of us look to material things to know whether we are of God or not.

The Church Jesus bought with His blood must see prayer as access to God’s throne room, where we settle matters and decide what will happen in our lives.

Prayer must be ur hotline, the things you rely on the most. Praying constantly and studying the Bible are two things that must go and in hand.

Things to note about prayers that move mountain

1. You must have a righteous heart

16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another [your false steps, your offenses], and pray for one another, that you may be healed and restored. The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) can accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power]. 17 Elijah was a man with a nature like ours [with the same physical, mental, and spiritual limitations and shortcomings], and he prayed [a]intensely for it not to rain, and it did not rain on the earth for three years and six months. 18 Then he prayed again, and the sky gave rain and the land produced its crops [as usual].

James 5:16-18

There are times when God gives you a word, you can’t just go and declare the word, you must spend time in His presence.

According to 1 John 5:14-15. You are entitled to go to God and ask for what you want. It’s your entitlement; there must be a remarkable degree of confidence that brings us before God and lets you know that if you ask anything consistent with his plan and purpose, He’ll hear you.

When you have a righteous heart, the prayers you pray will avail, when your heart is aligned to God’s will, your prayers will avail a lot. When you’re in right standing wth Christ, your prayers become powerful and you have boldness.

When we are righteous, our prayer becomes powerful. That’s why the enemy tries to ensure we live in sin, because he knows if there’s sin in our life, our power is weak.

2. You must have faith in God

20 He answered, “Because of your little faith [your lack of trust and confidence in the power of God]; for I assure you and most solemnly say to you, [a]if you have [living] faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and [if it is God’s will] it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.

Matthew 17:20

You must have absolute faith in God, knowing that there is nothing He cannot do.

That no matter how powerful the enemy is, God can destroy every single one of them.

Many talk about their problems, but they don’t talk to them.

There’s nothing as good as a surrendered life to Christ. It’s in knowing that you can take over everything God has ordained for you and do it without any kind of panic.

We need to align and know our position in God and know what He has made available for us and teach it to our children.

Faith in God is not wishful thinking but kingdom protocol.
