Being called is an action that requires attention and evokes a reaction.
Being called is to be set aside and delegated for a special purpose. As a child of God, we have been called and chosen.
We have been called as children of God to be fishers of men. We are called to be representatives of God’s kingdom here on earth.
You are witnesses of these things.
Luke 24:48
We have been called to bring the good news of Christ to the world. Romans 10:14-15.
We have been called to tell people abt Jesus. So are u living a life that shows people the way to Jesus?
Some Obstacles that Hinder Us From Telling People About Jesus
1. FEAR
For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control].
2 Timothy 1:7
Since God has not given us the spirit of fear, we need to eliminate and overcome fear completely.
We must be on our feet as we go and win souls for Christ.
2. LUKEWARMNESS
I know your deeds, that you are [a]neither cold (invigorating, refreshing) nor hot (healing, therapeutic); I wish that you were [b]cold or hot. 16 So because you are lukewarm (spiritually useless), and neither hot nor cold, I will vomit you out of My mouth [rejecting you with disgust].
Revelation 3:15-16
Lukewarmness will hinder you from going out to carry out your assignment because you will not be bold enough to do what God has asked you to.
3. LACK OF READINESS
For many are called (invited, summoned), but few are chosen.
Matthew 22:14
We have all been called and chosen, so it is time to rise to the occasion and carry out our assignment.
